I live in a small, quiet college town in Vermont. My husband and I have been married 30 years. We are both native Vermonters and have raised four children. I cannot imagine living any other place. The winters are long and you need a craft to help you through it. I have fallen in love with my cricut!! I've always been a crafty person since I was a child and have discovered a new passion.....card making!!

Rain but it's looking up
It has been a rainy couple of days, but it's going to be in the 70's on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to a warm Easter weekend. We don't usually get warm weather for Easter in Vermont.

Back to Reality!!
We have had such a wonderful March. We hit 63 on Saturday. I washed windows and doors and windows were open. We're back to reality today. Not too bad, just not in the 60's. It's going back to seasonal temps this week..30's and 40's. Spring is just around the corner!! YIPPEE.
Here are a few cards I have worked on this weekend.

First Home Owners!!
I made this card for my daughter's friend. She had bought her first home!! I really liked the way it turned out. This was from the Wild Card cartridge. I am going to try it again and get more fansy. I thought it was cute.
Sorrowful Card
Unfortunately, I had to make a sympathy card and I tried something different. I stamped my own background. I have taken the picture with the light in front and behind, but it is still dark. I need to figure out how to make it lighter. However, if you look closely you can see my background. It's a very simple card.
Beautiful Day in Vermont
Oh, wow, we couldn't ask for a better day in Central Vermont!! Yesterday and today have been about 45 degrees with sun, sun, and more sun. I have the front door opened and the sun is coming through the storm door and it feels so good!! My husband is washing our cars and the dogs are loving to be outside. We can't complain....we have had a great winter. I'm hoping spring is just around the corner. In Vermont though......you never know. We had a Noreaster on April 21 about 5 years ago!!! I'm just enjoying the day!!!
